Snake Mala

$225.00

“May I too abide to dispel the misery of the world” -Dali Lama

Fine Art Photography

Materials: Feathers, gopher snake, moth, beads, egg shell

In Budhist and Hindu tradition a mala is a string of beads used to keep count as a mantra or prayer is recited. There are 108 beads on a mala. This is the number representing wholeness and spiritual completion.

Edition of 60

The owl feather is a tool of silence and power, a messenger of wisdom. The gliding slither of the snake, with its belly upon the earth, is attuned to the smallest vibrations. The moth searches for light in the darkness and is a symbol of deep transformation. Together with the mala these animal elements form a prayer and a reminder.

Please fill in your own personal mantra.
