There is magic in the Coastal Redwood forests. To survive through the dry seasons, these ancient trees reach out with needles to pierce the clouds. Where their needles prick, a drop of water forms, then drops to the forest floor. This print features a Taricha torosa, the California Newt, which relies on the moisture created by the redwoods in all the phases of its life.
