Great place! Close to long and short hikes/walks. Sauna was so nice to come back to and warm up in. Only notes - no TV (which was fine but may be good to know before hand!), you have to log back in to the wifi every day (again not a huge deal but a tip), and only stainless steel pans. We wanted to make waffles/pancakes so if your group has that in mind then I suggest bringing your own waffle iron and/or non stick pan/griddle!

We had a terrific stay at Rachel and Ben's. The cabin is in a great location up in the hills outside Ashland, with easy access to beautiful nature all around. We particularly enjoyed the peace and calm of the area. The house is spacious yet cozy; the kitchen large and well equipped; the porch and the surrounding great for hanging out outside. The hosts were attentive to our needs (for instance they kindly provided an air purifier when the smoke from faraway fires reached the Ashland area; or they immediately fixed a tiny leak in the bathroom when we mentioned it). The house was sparkly clean. We'd love to come back when we're in Ashland again.

Rachel and Ben are warm, welcoming hosts who left us to our privacy but were available if we had any questions. They also left us fresh eggs and elderberry syrup one morning! Their house is right next to several trails and deer come by in the early evening.

The cabin was very nice, clean and comfortable. Rachel was a great and friendly host. Watching the mules and the deer (and the baby birds!) was fun. And the availability of hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail was amazing. There is so much ecological diversity. It feels like one is hiking on a different trail every mile. We really enjoyed our stay.

This isolated home with lots of character is surrounded by animals (farm animals, koi and deer..) We stayed for a full week and had a good time. I recommend anyone who intends to stay there to bring their own portable AC unit, cookware, essentials and potable water.

We had an amazing time. Gorgeous house and amazing ranch property. Right on the Pacific Crest Trail so you can walk out of the house and do some easy hiking. The house was cozy and we made a fire each night. We'd love to come back another time

This was a perfect place for a quiet retreat. Simple cabin on Green Mountain. All you need in the home for a week’s stay. Host, Rachel was kind and responsive. Fun to hear the mule, wild turkeys and chickens on the land. Special delivery of fresh eggs. A number of lovely hikes minutes away.

This was such a wonderful place to go and get away from the city. There are so many hiking trails and lakes in the area to explore, along with the river! The cabin was cozy, clean and we all slept so well while there! My kids got a kick out of feeding the mule that is housed next to the cabin, and the weather was lovely. We definitely want to return to see more of the area!
