Sanctuary Cabin

We had a very nice time at the cabin. It was in a beautiful location and the drive up to the cabin in really scenic and beautiful. Our family had a nice time at the cabin, interacting with the mules on property, lots of deers running around on property, playing games provided in the cabin etc. Rachel is a nice host and responsive. She brought over some coffee when we ran out of it in the cabin. A tip to others I would say is the temperature at the cabin since it is on the mountain will be 10-15 degrees colder than Ashland. So plan accordingly bringing warmer clothes. Only issue I felt was the cabin was a little dark and not enough lighting. Adding some more lighting in the living room to make it brighter would make it much much nicer. Might not be an issue to some people. Overall this is a very nice cabin and we would definitely visit again if we get a chance.

Incredible location steps from the PCT. The sauna was restorative, and the house was large and comfortable.

Truly a amazing place to stay, just 30 minutes out of Ashland, this cabin sits just off the main highway on plenty or acreage. The location is shared with two other cabins but there is plenty of privacy to walk around the property and taking a break with the livestock. Highly recommend, really great trail connected to the property!

Great place!

Great little cabin, nice and close to PCT if you want to go hiking. Host is accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a summer vacation with hiking evolved. Bears and wildlife are around, so make sure to prepare for that.

A beautiful cabin complete with a sauna, close proximity to hiking, and three beautiful rescue mules. We had a blast.

Great escape right off the PCT. Loved feeding the rescue mules and staying cozy by the fire.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location!

Beautiful ski get away. Our stay was perfect. Cabin and property are beautiful. We enjoyed greeting the donkeys in the morning. Use of the sauna is amazing. Especially after 2 full days of skiing at Mt. Ashland. That's less then 1 hour away. About 25 min to downtown Ashland. Really is the perfect getaway. Rachel is a great host. Will be back.
